I would like to take my family on a vacation. It would consist of myself, my husband, my 1.5 year old child, and possibly my parents, in their early 50s.
We would like something tropical. I was thinking about a Beaches resort, but they are booked up for when we want to go, which is during Mardi Gras. We’d like to go during the week of Feb. 19.
If anyone has some suggestions for family friendly yet fun and entertaining I would really love your help!
If you give a suggestion I would really appreciate if you could give me info on things such as where to stay and how much $ I am looking at spending.

Go on a cruise. Stay away from Mexico. Police are corrupt there.

Go to Jamaica the only other places that would be nice weather wise would be Miami Beach, or you could go to Hawaii

Costa Rica is GORGEOUS! There are tropical rain forests, and friendly people there.

Mexico is great.. not sure what the other person meant by the police but everyone has their opinions. I went to puerto vallarta, it’s beautiful, Plaza pelicanos is great as well, section 1 is the older one, its very nice and section two is more expensive but newer and nice.. They have games and such for all ages.. Water polo, basketball, volleyball, water balloon fights (only in the pool so as not to disturb san-tanners) bingo, dance lessons, how to make salsa, everything! They do lots of night shows, live bands, mexican fiesta’s, a circus, boardgames then at 10:30 staff will meet you in the front and take you to local bars if you want. It’s extremely entertaining, and they were great! The place was beautiful.
