I want to have a destination wedding in jamaica but I am undecided on what resort to choose. I’m only inviting no more than ten people to joy our wedding. Since I don’t get to vacation much or spend a lot of money in a week, I want to make sure I choice the best place to enjoy my wedding. If you been to jamaica how was your experience.

Are MP3 Players & iPod more of a luxury in Jamaica?

It seems like everyone in the US has an MP3 Player or iPod….I hear these were harder to purchase in Jamaica. Is it because of the economy? Exporting them to Jamaica is limited so they are not readily available? Is it even true? I am still puzzled what to bring a few people when I go on vacation, they work at one of the resorts and they MADE OUR TRIP during our last visit and in additional to tipping I wanted to provide them a little extra “something”. Thanks!

It’s me and a group of my friends. It’s our Senior Year in highschool and we want to do something for 2009 Spring Break.
We like entertainment, movies, nightlife, beach, nature etc.
Which city should we stay in?
We would be staying with the Sandals Resorts and so far we are deciding between Ocho Rios and Negril.
Also, would it be safe to travel to?
Our parents are over protective sometimes.

we’ve been together to india living in orphanges, kenya living with the maasai tribe , the hoods of mexico three times, japan, ireland, orphanages in costa rica, italy, greece, spain, etc. all alone by ourselves before
So I believe we know that countries outside of the US have poorer people and different customs.
All Inclusive Honeymoon- Dominican Republic or Jamaica?

Hello, we want to go somewhere decent for our honeymoon. We haven’t had the opportunity to travel much but I was looking at All Inclusives in Jamaica and the DR. Out of the two, which one would you recommend?
Also for the resorts, we are looking at the following:
into Punta Cana (Gran Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo Collection (Adults Only), NH Real Arena, or Grand Oasis Punta Cana) or Puerto Plata (Sun Village Resort and Spa)…
We looked at some places in Jamaica such as the Gran Bahia Principe (Runaway Bay, Jamaica), Holiday Inn Sunspree Montego Bay (although this seems more like a family resort), or Riu Ochos Rios (Montego Bay, Jamaica).
Any honest feedback would be appreciated.
PS if you know where we can find a killer deal for an all inclusive for our honeymoon, feel free to recommend that as well. We really want to stay at around $800 per person for 1 week and will be traveling September 13- September 20, 2009.
Does Jamaica Grande have wifi connection?

my parents and i are going on vacation to ocho rios ,jamaica for vacation. i am totally obsessed with the internet. Jamaica Grande is a resort that i am going to. Some resorts have wifi connection but im not extremely sure. I can’t life with out the internet for one day

I’ve noticed that all of the all inclusive places are up north but, I mainly want to stay in Kington. My family lives there. I don’t want to have to travel back and forth from two different cities/parrishes just to get to Kingston. I haven’t found much yet in the Kingston area…
Any ideas????
…all I’ve found are a couple small places in New Kingston..including the hotel, yet it is not all inclusive.
No..I won’t be staying w them in their home..these are my in-laws…first time meeting them and first time to Jamaica. They live in the ‘bad’ parts of Kingston..and even though I wouldn’t mind experiencing it for what it is…I’m just not ready for that…not for my first trip atleast=)

My fiance and I are looking for all inclusive options with Sandals and we’re not sure if this is a good resort. We want to stay in a swim up suite somewhere, and Sandals RC has this option. We have also looked at the Negril location but it is 2k more.
Where can I find the CHEAPEST tickets to Holland or Jamaica?

Anywhere in the Caribbeans is okay too. Money is tight, but i want the best for my family. Is there any cheap resorts, where maybe kids can stay free? You do not know how much you would be helping me.
Hedonism II or Hedonism III in Jamaica for 3 20year old girls on birthday vacation?

A small group of girls, 3 including myself) want to go to Jamaica for a birthday trip for two of us. We have researched and we want a fun party relaxing all inclusive resort and love the idea of hedonism. Should we go to Hedonism II or III? The trip is being planned for November or December of this year. Past experience input will be awesome as well as any advice. Thanks in advance to those with good thoughtful answers.

Im planning a trip next year for im 26th b-day, and yes my first n only choice is Jamaica. The problem is, is that i have heard horror stories about women who go to Jamaica alone or with another friend and their never seen again. My view about the whole thing is that the women go to Jamaica and they see how laid back it is and they never want to return home. Like for example, two women went to a resort in negril and one of the women met an employee of the resort or a rent-a-dread and the next morning when it was time for her and her friend to return to america, she couldn’t find her. The U.S has done everything to locate her whereabouts in Jamaica, but it seems she just vanished off the face of the earth. This somewhat bothers me because i know that i have a weakness for jamaican men and i proberly will end up like her. My best friend said i shouldn’t have a problem because she went by herself. but im like ” u have family in jamaica of course nothing is going to happen to you!!!!!!!

Hi,so my husband and I are going back to Hedonism3 in Jamaica this will be my 5th and his 7th visit to this resort.So no one asks why return to somewhere we’ve been the answer is we want to vacation with adults only we want to be able to do what we want when we want where we want feel me?Also it’s nice to return and spend time where we got married makes us remember how far we’ve come as a couple.I have done plenty of things over the years for him at this resort but I’m out of ideas at this point.Please when you give me advice keep in mind it has to be something I can purchase here at home and carry with me.It is things I can get at the resort but I like to be prepared I hate running around collecting needed items on vacation that’s time we can send together.What would you give your spouse of 7 years for Valentines day?

I am a 13 year old boy. My older sister is 15. My younger sister is 9. We were thinking of going to Jamaica. I was thinking of going to Sandals Beach resort and Spa. And I was also thinking of going to Negril, but then my dad said they had alot of night clubs and strip clubs and stuff.
I heard montego and kingston may be dangerous. Anyway, can you just tell me a good hotel and place to stay in Jamaica.
my family likes REALLLY good quality hotels (fancy.) They also want a resort with stuff to do. (they do not care much about the price)
Please recommend a good hotel in Jamaica and a good place for a family vacation that has nice beaches, food, and places to walk around.
